University of Houston-Victoria

The University of Houston-Victoria is a dynamic destination university in the Coastal Bend Region of Texas. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in four schools: Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education and Human Development, and Nursing. Fully-online programs complement face-to-face programs and allow convenient access for UHV’s traditional and non-traditional students. UHV also serves transfer students through articulation agreements with community colleges.

Through innovative programs, the expanding use of technology, reasonable tuition, and good financial aid packages, UHV makes higher education accessible. Writing and subject-area tutoring, along with other academic resources contribute to the success of UHV students. A low faculty to student ratio ensures students know their faculty. Student Activities and Involvement at UHV

Students who are actively involved in their own learning and development are more likely to be successful in college. Colleges and universities offer students a wide variety of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom to become engaged with new ideas, people, and experiences.
