  • About UHV

About UHV

Since its establishment in 1973, UHV has provided educational programs designed to meet the needs of non-traditional students, specifically working adults.  Over the years, UHV has developed online programs and offered courses at two off-campus locations to provide students with additional options for completing their bachelor's degrees or earning a master's degree.

To meet the need of local population growth and the diverse student body, University of Houston-Victoria started enrolling freshmen and sophomores in Fall 2010. The university now is a four-year residential university with four academic schools and offers both bachelor's and master's degrees to over forty majors.
