Bachelor’s Degree Recipients’ First-destination Survey Results

Graduates of Temple University follow many paths in their first year after receiving their degree. We asked about their first destination after graduation using the following question:

Welcome to the Temple University Post-Graduation Plans Survey. Please let us know what BEST describes your PRIMARY plans upon graduation from Temple, whether you are still considering a variety of options or have finalized your plans for the coming year.

For those of you still seeking employment, grad school or another program of continuing education, we encourage you to complete the survey before graduation, and come back to update the survey when your plans have been finalized.

Your valuable input helps your fellow Owls explore future educational and career options, as well as guide Temple in development of resources. By filling out the survey, you will be eligible for a range of prizes raffled off by the Temple University Career Center, including iPad minis, Amazon Gift Cards and more. The sooner you respond, the greater your chances of winning!

As always, we encourage you to stay in contact with our coaches, outreach specialists and staff from around Temple who can refer you to job announcements and offer assistance in your search.

Graduates were asked to select only their primary activity that best matched their plans after graduation. Some graduates may pursue multiple options at the same time, which is important to keep in mind when reviewing these results. 73% responded and their answers are shown in the chart below
