Emergency Management and Safety at SIUE has a vital mission integral to protecting the continuity of University operations as well as the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors. The emergency management function uses an all hazards approach that ensures the University is prepared for a wide range of disasters. The SIUE Police Department is a community-oriented police department, whose mission is to provide quality service based on high ethical and professional standards.
