The University of Alabama in Huntsville is a “high research activity” institution in the new Carnegie classification. Located within the second largest university research park in the United States, UAHuntsville prepares students for demanding positions in Engineering, the Sciences, Business, Nursing, and the Liberal Arts. UAH is listed in “Americas 100 Best College Buys” and ranked as a National University by “US News and World Reports.” Approximately 7,400 students currently attend the University; 5,800 are undergraduate students.
